Moon Vase

'Objects for flowers' was made with the intention of having these vessels filled or surrounded by Ikebana style floral arrangements. In this collection Kelly has explored earthy tones, ash glazes and traditional Japanese shapes. This wheel thrown moon vase has been made from a stoneware clay, then glazed to add unique texture and colour. Every piece is fired twice in Kelly's gas kiln in her home studio in Currumbin.
