Porcelain Tea Bowl

'Objects for flowers' was made with the intention of having these vessels filled or surrounded by Ikebana style floral arrangement. In this collection Kelly has explored earthy tones, ash glazes and traditional Japanese shapes. These wheel thrown, hand carved tea bowls are made from porcelain, then glazed to add unique texture and colour . Every piece is fired twice in Kelly's gas kiln in her home studio in Currumbin.
